in the Wild

The R6 Ranch is a wild and quiet space providing an opportunity to participate in a culture of meaningful experiences.

It offers a chance to better understand yourself, our community, and the environment we share.

A Working Horse Ranch
For 100 Years

Today, we share our love for the beauty and solitude of this place with growing, curious youth, and those seeking energy from the rhythms of our natural world: the brightness of stars at night, the feeling of earth in a garden, the quiet movement of animals, and the assurance that day comes after night.

Surrounded by protected and wild parklands, with the Kananaskis River its eastern border, the R6 Ranch gives us a setting to engage with community.

This is what we do:

Ranch camps and youth programming provide young people with the opportunity to learn, grow, work, and play.

We are creating an environment to support growth and development for horse, rider, and teacher. Equine workshops, training, and competitions launching in 2021.

Our goal is to create a foundation to support youth and community.

Spaces to support learning and community through meetings, events, workshops, seminars, team-building, celebrations, and gatherings.

Now that is the wisdom of a man, in every instance of his labor, to hitch his wagon to a star, and see his chore done by the gods themselves."
— Ralph Waldo Emerson (May 25, 1803 – April 27, 1882)
